Wiltshire Girls halve match v Hampshire

A team of 8 girls from Wiltshire played Hampshire at Sherfield Oaks Golf Club on Sunday 19 June:

Ashleigh Thorne, Wrag Barn (Captain for the day)

Olivia Bannon, Broome Manor

Katie Walls, Broome Manor

Mia Law, Tidworth

Caitlin Carney, Wrag Barn

Lydia Ward, Wrag Barn

Sammy Walls, Broome Manor

Freya Turner, Wrag Barn

It was closely contested with an excellent win going to Ashleigh (4/2) and Olivia who won her match on the 18th green by sinking a 30 foot putt!

Sammy and Freya won their games with a bye to halve the match, and Katie only narrowly missed out going just 1 down.

Well done to everyone who took part, especially as for many of you it was your first County match!
