Paul Blooms at Chippenham

In tough conditions 52 Senior players teed it up at Chippenham Golf Club on Thursday 16th June 2016. Scoring was exceptionally difficult due to the adverse weather conditions, punishing rough and fast , perfectly manicured putting surfaces.

For a long time it appeared that Hugh Chesters's fine 77 would win the day, but in the end, Paul Bloomfield from Kingsdown Golf Club pipped him with a gross 76.

We would like to thank Chippenham, and especially Derek McKenzie, the General Manager, for allowing us to stage the event at their club, and for presenting the course in such great condition.
