WLCGA CORONATION MEDAL FINAL 2016

This event was hosted by Upavon Golf Club on Sunday 9th October. Twenty-six ladies from Divisions 1 and 2, representing 15 clubs took part.

The course at Upavon played extremely well with closely mown fairways and testing but true putts on the greens. Ladies that strayed off the fairway and into the rough found that they had a real test to save par. The weather on the day was also another added bonus with little wind and the sun shining.

The Division 1 Coronation Medal was won by Helen Walker (Cumberwell Park) with a Nett Score of 73, with Denise Wright (High Post) winning and the Division 2 also with a score of Nett 73. The Competition Standard Scratch on the day was 72.
