Manor House To Support Wiltshire Golf Junior Development Tour

Manor House Golf Club and its members to be partners with the Wiltshire Golf Junior Development Tour

Wiltshire Golf are delighted to announce that the 2019 Junior development Tour will be supported by the Manor House Golf Club and its members. The Tour provides fun, competitive golf for young people under 12 years old, and the inaugural season in 2018 was a huge success.

The club will provide support for the 8 regular season events and will also be the venue for a spectacular end of year Tour Finals day on the 6th October 2019, when the overall winner of the season-long competition will be crowned, and will receive a fabulous prize of a years Junior Membership at Manor House Golf Club!

Manor House Manager of Golf, Andy Ryan said:

“In a year where we have appointed a 20-year old Lady Captain, we are determined to encourage more young golfers into this beautiful game. Our Club Captain, Keith Sprules is a great supporter of Junior golf and I am delighted we are in a position to support this Tour financially. We are excited to be the venue for the final showdown with such a great prize for the lucky winner! I do hope that this tour is a great success after such a lot of hard work put in by Ian, Sandra and the team”

Wiltshire Golf Operations Director Scott Talbert added:

“We are hugely excited about the prospects for the season ahead, and our partnership with the Manor House Golf Club and its members. Their generous support will allow us to make this year’s Junior Development Tour even better than the inaugural event in 2018. Our whole focus as a County is to encourage as many young people to give golf a try, and to let them enjoy the game in a relaxed but competitive environment.

We cannot thank Andy and his members enough for their support, and we would encourage as many golfers as possible to come along and participate!”

The first event will be held at Cumberwell Park on Sunday 26th May 2019.
