It was literally standing room only at Semmington today as family and friends of Malcolm Nixon gathered together for his funeral. Malcom held the presidency of the WCGU from 2009-10; he was well respected and also renown for his good humour and "appetite". He was a local farmer in the Poulshot area for many years and when not tending to his farm was an extremely keen golfer. He loved his golf and was deeply honoured to be asked to take on the role of county president. Malcolm was 4 days shy of 83 when he suddenly and unexpectedly passed away and Wiltshire Golf's commiserations go to all of his family and friends.
