Broome Sweep to Qualification

Massive congratulations go to the Broome Manor Juniors who have qualified to represent England in the finals of the Home Nations Championships at Forest Pines Golf Club in 2022.

Having battled through over the summer against the best Wiltshire Clubs, the Broome Youngsters earned the right to play in yesterdays English Finals by fighting through regional qualifying last month.

The team of Lewy Hayward, Niahm Cripps, Jack Mawer, Macklin Hawkins, Ethan Batstone and Cillian Roberts (pictured above with Coach Lee Hayward) fought off stiff challenges from Lindrick, Sherborne, Goodwood and Beau Desert to be pipped for first place by Peterborough Golf Club.

However, they have now qualified for the finals, following in the footsteps of Richard Ward's Wrag Barn team who represented England at Antequera in 2014.
