Safeguarding Update

England Golf have reviewed all their Child Protection Policies and have now updated their procedures under the new title of Safeguarding Policy and Procedures.

A children and vulnerable adults Safeguarding Template has been produced to assist Clubs and Counties maintain and update their Safeguarding procedures. The Templates can be obtained from England Golf who specify that all golf specific DBS checks need to be done for those adults working with juniors and vulnerable adults.

England Golf are also planning training workshops for Clubs to develop the Welfare Officer Role, details early in 2016.
