WLCGA County Bowmaker

The WLCGA County Bowmaker was held at Erlestoke Golf Club on Monday 26th September. Eighty-One ladies representing fifteen clubs made up Twenty-Seven teams for this event.

Erlestoke proved to be challenging on the day with the weather playing a part for those that had the earlier tee times. However everyone finished their rounds in dry conditions.

The winners of the Bowmaker were Aurora Edwards, Jane Griffin & Julie Osborne from West Wilts with a score of 80 points. The runners up were Diana Castle, Beryl Griffiths & Jane Homer from Rushmore with a score of 77 points.

Nearest the Pin for Division 1 was won by Sarah Waugh (Tidworth) with Jane Carver( North Wilts) winning Nearest the Pin for Division 2.

Longest Drive in Division 1 was won by Judy Mussell (Cumberwell Park) and Division 2 was won by Candy Garret (Hamptworth).

Thanks were given to Pat Traves who organised another stunning raffle which raised a total of £ 170.35  for the Junior Girls Fund.
